Tea

Because I think I crowed about it at the time, but I can't remember if I posted pics, and since I was in the mode of resizing and posting I figured I'd continue this morning...

When we moved in last June, Eor made a tea drawer for me, and I think it is awesome. Holds all my tea balls and stray bags that people send me so I can try something out. There's also a couple of packets of hot chocolate from England upper left there (a year old, I should use those) and some spices for making hot cider. But mostly - tea! My sweetie is the best, he thinks of everything.

It's been raining all day, with wind for added delight, and today was the first day back in the remote parking lot at work - we're having to park like a mile from work and then take a shuttle from there, because our parking lot is being destroyed by the expansion on the airport. We were told that the shuttle would only pick people up at the shelters, so I was good and stood there. And found that the wind was blowing the rain right in the open side. I stood up on the bench and wedged myself into the corner and that helped a bit. Buck showed up and I said, "Stand up here, it helps."

"But what if people want to sit on the bench?" Which was awash with rain. Then he answered himself, "Probably not," and climbed up. Another coworker showed up and Buck says to her, "Come on up here, it does help." So when the shuttle showed up we were all three huddled standing on the bench like little birds on a branch.

And the shuttle slowly meandered around the lot picking people up as they dashed from their cars.
