So tired. WHY would someone create a system where a test is launched at one website but actually runs from another? Why would they then change the rules for each test as to how it's assigned? And then why would they not have a helpdesk for this whole mess? It took me hours to get it sorted out. On my own, really. I got a tiny amount of help from the woman at the launch site, but she couldn't seem to guess the root problem. The guy at the other site just said, "No, we don't do that. We just keep track of scores, launching the test is the problem of the other site." (And then his precious site went down for a while, in addition.) But my ducklings GOT their test, eventually, because I might not be smart but I'm bullheaded.

Tomorrow's class is going to be hurry-hurry, after having used up too much time, today.
Visual Cognition Lab - See if you can count how many times the people in white shirts pass the ball, and then come back and tell me about your experience. :)

Chinese, Americans Truly See Differently, Study Says - East Asian's eye movements show more contextualizing of objects in photos.

Controversial science of brain imaging - Brain activity found in dead Atlantic salmon! (or, maybe this technique is not as accurate as we had hoped.) I read an awfully good book a while back about how people's brains are wired differently (and how that affects how you need to interact with them) which used a lot of fMRI brain imaging to support it's arguments, and now this brings it into question for me. I still think, though, that probably a lot of what it had to say seems to follow through in real life.
