After 7:30 last night we found out we have a showing at 9am today. We were trimming the bushes by the deck as it was getting dark, and I was on my knees scrubbing the kitchen floor at 10pm. I'm so tired.
We made an offer on that house we went to take another look at. The offer was countered the next day, and we accepted the counter. Now it'll be a month of back and forth with things like inspections and etc, and at any point something could go wrong, but I dropped off our earnest money check today. We're really in earnest. We are going to buy 20 acres which is zoned such that it can't be subdivided, with an elderly but basically decent house. At least it appears so to us. There is one foundation problem, but it doesn't look as though it will take too much money to get fixed. And the wiring needs updating, which means Eor will refuse to move into it until that's done, he hates the idea of dying in a fire.
I just got a 403 error - "You don't have permission to view this page" - on my Dreamwidth account. On my own DW.
