Well, I have enough words to call it Chapter 19 and post it, but ... I feel like most of what I did was avoid having things happen. ( cut for spoilerish meta )
Anyway. My daily walk has progressed from 'shuffle' to merely 'trudge'. It might even have been characterized as an 'amble' to begin with, but I still get tired quickly. Still, it no longer feels all squidgy and icky in my tum with each jarring footfall, so that's a big plus.
The disadvantage of feeling physically better is that my emotional shut-down which I was experiencing is now pulling back and I'm starting to feel stressed and helpless where Hawk and his situation is concerned, with the result that I'm grinding my teeth at night more, and dreaming they're all broken off, etc. I need to start doing something for him, even if it's silly and useless. I think I should start drawing pictures of Medicine Buddha, because he wanted me to do a cartoon of Medicine Buddha dancing and lassoing cancer cells.
There. Between last paragraph and this I have bothered Eor to link the printer for me so I could print out a gray scale picture of Medicine Buddha for something to work from.
