family

Just had a long video call with my brother, Hawk, and his family. We ate breakfast together and then played a board game where you have to act out stuff, I think it's called "Kids On Stage." His daughter, Miss Longshanks, is five years old, so it was kind of a rowdy game and didn't take long for her to get tired of it. She alternates between wanting to be the center of attention and getting suddenly shy. It was fun; I hope we can do it again. My doctor suggested two years ago that we should start doing this, as she could tell I wanted to be able to have a relationship with Miss Longshanks, but it's tricky where they're in a different time zone.
