Short version:
10% of the respondents didn't think it was important at all, and their reason for not getting involved was that it didn't benefit themselves.
42% thought Diversity and Inclusion was important, but of that group 44% were still not getting involved, and their reason was "I'm too busy".
Now, the author of the article concludes:
The unspoken part of the knee-jerk response "I’m too busy is," I’m too busy to help someone else—meaning, My main responsibility is to myself. Privileged people are often brought up to think that way.
Not sure how I feel about this. I generally find that most of my energy is spent by the time I've worked and done some basic caring for myself. But, I can't claim to not be priveleged and lazy, even if I am a woman.
