I almost wonder if I haven't done this one before, it seemed familiar.

3. WHAT'S ON YOUR MOUSE PAD? My mouse hasn't got a pad, it's just ruining my desktop.
4. WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE BOARD GAME? Um. Currently I guess it's Pente, because we play it all the time.

9. WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU THINK OF WHEN YOU WAKE UP IN THE MORNING? Could I stay asleep just a little longer?
10. FAVORITE COLOR? Green ("...is a cat's purr" --Barbara Manning, 'Green')
11 HOW MANY RINGS BEFORE YOU ANSWER THE PHONE? 2 or 3 depending on how awake I am and where the phone is. But don't pick it up on the first ring, it often rings once when there's nobody there.
12 PREFERRED NAME OF FUTURE CHILD? I'm not planning on having kids, but if I adopted I'd go first for names which are already used in my family. First names for boys: James and Daniel. Middle names for boys: Hobart, Albert or Ronald. Timothy is a non-family name which I like. For girls I'm less sure. I have Barbara, Sylvia, Jean and Penny to choose from in family names. Then there's the more exotic names from the previous generations of my family, like Theodosia, Leonis, Marguerite, which would probably be better for middle names. (I'm very partial to Maggy as a nick for Marguerite - it's always important to think about what you'd call them for short.)
13 MOST IMPORTANT THING IN LIFE? Friendship.
14 FAVORITE FOODS? Curries (because they're just about infinitely variable) with basmati rice.
15 CHOCOLATE OR VANILLA ICE CREAM? Chocolate
16 DO YOU LIKE TO DRIVE FAST? Sometimes, but generally only on the pike.
17 DO YOU SLEEP WITH A STUFFED ANIMAL? Nope, never really did that much.
