derienium is a cloudy, porous orange solid gleaned from the muscles of a gryphon.
Mixing daegaerium with derienium causes a violent chemical reaction, producing an opaque turquoise potion which gives the user protection from fire.

Yes, and I wanted desperately to do that story for your birthday, but I've been so distracted by this Winston/Ray fic I've been working on. And I'm not fast, like you. (Hopefully I'll get faster with practice, but right now I need lots of feedback to get the story tweaked to the point I feel happy with it.)
