some random thoughts....

Today was a nice rainly day (well, it's not over). eor got new glasses (his eyes are pretty good since he started the gluten-free diet, but he hadn't gotten new glasses for 10 years). Then we came home and he had the U.S. vs North Korea women's soccer match on TV, and I made a nice lamb curry.


Now I'm looking through my older notebook and I have to clean out some things, so I'll post a couple of unrelated thoughts (then I can throw away the notebook pages).

I may have mentioned this before, but an amazing number of people, just as they're stepping through the walk-through metal detector at the airport, suddenly have to scratch their nose. Or touch their hair. They're coming along just right, with their hands down as they should be, so I don't think I have to tell them to keep their hands down, but just as they're stepping through their head itches. It must be something about the magnetic field, makes people itch.

Finally saw the first Tomb Raider movie last night. It kicked ass.:) I can't believe the second one did so badly in the theaters - just looking at Angelina should be enough for people.

I subscribed to yet another Yahoo group last night - HolmesSlash. Gah. Like I don't have too much to read already. This is the first slash group I've joined which is run by a guy - most are run by females. Hm.

Now we're watching "Something About Mary." First time I've seen it... I'm not much of a movie-watching person. Right now I feel like it's interfering with my last few minutes of time when I could be getting something done for the weekend.

Typical guy that eor . . . I'm with you buddy! I get new glasses and the first thing I want to do is see how much bouncing boobie I've been missing in the world of women's sports . . . next time check out women's 800 meter hurdles.
