The Current Music I listed is the song that's been stuck in my head since yesterday... which will only make sense if you read the spoilers on my movie review. I'm a sick puppy.

Yesterday a guy I work with (CN) asked if I was going to go out to the BYOB country line-dancing place. I shuddered theatrically and explained that I can't stand country music. He responded that he liked country music because "there's so many beautiful women in country music!" I shuddered theatrically again - Ewwwww! "I find them repulsive! Probably because they like country music!"

I'm sorry, the words 'country music women' just bring to mind bad poufy hair and sleazy pseudo-western outfits with lace, and that close-minded, aggressive "morally better than thou and besides I can kick your ass" attitude.

See what happens . . . I leave the checkpoint, you take a day or two off and the place goes country. ICK! Like the old joke goes: When you play a country song backwards, ya git yer pickup back, yer wife comes back . . . and brings the dog with her, it stops raining, the train don't come by no more and yer sister's husband finds a job.
