Damn. After a full hour up, 20oz water and a quart of milk, I'm starting to feel like I might not die. Hopefully will go back to bed soon. To dream of peeing for the rest of the night, I'm sure.
As an aside, I thought I had a temp, so took it - 97.6F. Exactly a degree below normal when I feel like my forehead is burning. I wish I could remember to monitor it when I feel fine.

If Maalox is gloopy, vile and fast-acting it certainly works on the same principles as Gaviscon. If you don't have goat's milk, I find that cow's milk boiled seems less indigestible. Milk of Magnesia is also very good (though getting less and less easy to find here - think of Rennies in liquid form, sort of. It's also good for diarrhea).

Noooo, it's good! Like a root-beer float, only not so oversweet. Sometimes the milk can curdle, though. I think I'll say this is when you pour it wrong. I don't really care, though - I was the kid who used to mix my orange juice and milk and drink the resulting curdle. ;) Made it more palatable for me. Actually... it just occurred to me to wonder if maybe curdled cows milk is more digestable, kind of like the acid from the orange juice slightly cooking it, perhaps?
Rennies is a cheap end department store, in Maine. :)
