Ah, finally.:) All my cards and presents are sent out - the cessation of the extra stress makes me almost feel like nothing is hanging over my head, now. Of course there are still other things. Last night I avoided dishes by saying to myself that I have to work on these fics I have sort of stalled in various stages, but what I actually did was avoid writing fic by reading fic.

And now I'm avoiding the dishes by wandering around my yahoo groups again. Which has allowed me to discover that The American Family Association's Homosexual Marriage Poll which [livejournal.com profile] noelfigart had mentioned had been tackled by a bot, is up again. (When I went to add my opinion the other day it was down.)

I also learned that [livejournal.com profile] omelton has a page full of Good Omens fan art. I particularly like the one entitled "Paper Moon," and the ink sketch of Anathema leaving C&A after having first met them - he caught Aziraphale in a pose which seems perfectly right, although nothing I'd have ever thought of by myself.

gah, I need to do something this morning which will allow me to feel productive and good about myself.

Hullo!

Thanks for recommending me! Or better, my scrizzles.
I'm so glad you enjoy the pictures. I tend to be quite obsessive about drawing itself (I do it all the time. S'like a nervous tic, only more elaborate), but besides fulfilling the selfish need to put pencil to paper, it is of course lovely if other people like what's been poured out, too.
Er, that didn't make much sense.
The picture with Anathema is now in a fully inked state (featuring the Bentley! HaHAH!) and I shall upload it along with several truckloads of other pictures. I'm hoping that I'll have the discipline to do all that over Christmas.

Thanks again, and I hope I'm not appearing too much the stalker since I just sort of popped up in your journal,

Cheers,

O

No, not too much the stalker at all - that's pretty much how people start talking to each other on LJ.:) I mean, I mentioned you in my post, so I guess I could be sounding rather stalkerish.

I know how you feel about the 'nervous tick' of drawing, but it's nice if other people like it. I used to draw, and somehow I got too busy for a while and lost the habit. Now I'm completely displeased with anything I produce and can't seem to get the impulse back. So don't stop, even for a short while.

I guess because I used to draw I'm rather snobbish about fanart, not much of it gets noted in my journal.

I don't intend to stop drawing any time soon, thanks - shame you don't feel the impulse any more. But I suppose you have other nice things to occupy your time with :).

Be snobbish, by all means! Er, I'm especially pleased to be mentioned in your journal, of course...
Personally, I rarely do recs. Possibly because I'm too lazy. Fic recs occasionally, not sure if I've ever recommended fanart. Not that there isn't a wealth of nice stuff out there...
Just being lazy, I suppose.

Happy Holidays,
