So after I posted that earlier post I did go back to sleep. On the couch, in all my clothes, huddled under the couch blanket and my fluffy bathrobe, and still not entirely warm. And didn't wake up until 11:45. The cat couldn't even wake me with her usual methods of wandering around crying, or climbing on me and tickling my face with her whiskers. Eventually she gave up and went to sleep next to me, on the back of the couch.

Waking up at 11:45 didn't give me much time to accomplish the errand list [livejournal.com profile] eor had set up for me, but I was lucky enough to make it to the bank just as they were closing and the kind lady let me in. Now I'm waiting to see if he arrives home or phones and says the van won't start. I also hoped Caw might show up. She phoned just before I went out and said she was going to be in town about 3:30pm, and I said 'perfect, stop by,' but my voice probably sounded like I didn't want to see anyone because I have no energy.

I hope you feel better soon. I'm sure this lovely weather isn't helping. :(

Thanks. I think the sleep did do me some good, after all.:) But you're right about the weather - I think it's that which got me really started on being truly sick, when I got very chilled waiting for the bus a couple days ago.
