Some of my co-workers got playing Jedi mind-tricks on the baggage screening machines at work. "This bag is fine," with the handwave in front of the monitors. It was a harmless enough joke, but after a while they got worried because it actually seemed to be working - bags which had obviously been screened by other airports were clearing on through. The Lead came by and asked why they were running another test on the machine halfway through the shift and I told her "superstition."
