It was JP's going away party, tonight.:(:(:( We're all sorry to see him go, everyone likes JP (A.K.A. The Incredible Shrinking Man - he felt almost boney when I hugged him tonight), and he got a greater turnout of people to wish him well than has shown up to anything besides perhaps the Christmas party. Most of the people from the afternoon shift, even some who never show up for anything (like The Saxman), and even a few people from the morning shift. Anyway, my co-workers are a fun bunch, and very sweet - it was a marvelous time. The same guy who annoyed me Thursday and Monday (NotVery) was quite nice to me this evening.:) It's funny. People say we're one big, disfunctional family, and, yeah... I guess so. When one of the new guys first started he said, "all you need to do now is get drunk and yell at each other," and Big Mama responded "We've already done that." Yup. Although we actually get drunk and dance and hug each other. I don't think there's a single truly beligerant drunk among the bunch of us, now. If we did have, they've either gone or they get pulled along by the tide of the 'I luv ya man' drunks. ;) Probably it's one of those situations that's actually highly combustable and is going to go up in flames any day, but it's cool at the moment.
