I got a package today! "Sherlock Holmes and the Baker Street Irregulars: The Fall of the Amazing Zalindas." Okay, whoever sent it, you can fess up so I can thank you! :D I'm SO sorely tempted to put down the three or four books I have in progress in favor of this one. (Okay, the Sociology book and the Wodehouse don't actually count as 'in progress' in my mind because they're not 'books' - one is a collection of articles and the other is a collection of short stories - but Eor counts them as 'in progress' because they're hanging around. But I've been desperately wanting a book-length story to dedicate myself to because "Metropolis" and "The Green Knight" are so gawdawful dull. Possibly I'll post a rant about how bad "The Green Knight" is, later. I've already entertained bored Eor with this vitriol in person. ;))

In other news...

I made a long list of things to get done for this weekend. I didn't put 'clean up my desk' on it, so of course that was what I decided to do. It was such a pile that I couldn't really get to my keyboard anymore, so you know. Now the living room is half covered with smaller piles.
