Valerie? I didn't know she had a name besides "wife." And because I know the picture will go away someday, I have to note that it's the wife of the doctor or wizard or whatever who they got to make the pill which brings Westly back to life, and the caption says, "The chocolate coating makes it go down easier." I think I got her because I said I'd like to do some good in the world, and the thing that annoys me most is stupid people. :)
So I made chicken parm for dinner and now I have a TON of dishes to clean up. I hate hate hate making complicated meals. Just barely got it done before
I worked in the checkpoint today, which right now seems to be much more the exception than the rule. The newbies aren't trained for downstairs, yet, which means when things get busy this summer I'm going to be lifting a lot of bags. I really should be lifting weights now to get in shape for it so I don't injure myself, but AM I? Of course not, I'm too lazy and can't organize my time.

Today as she relinquished the x-ray to the Saxman she started to rearrainge the fan so it wouldn't blow right on him, saying, "I don't want it to make your kidneys too cold." (she muttered that one word quietly, as though she was trying to avoid having passengers hear it, like it was something possibly unacceptable to mixed company.)
"My what?" he asked
"I don't want to chill your kidneys."
"Chill my what??"
"Kidneys! Do you want one of my hearing aids?!"
*chortle* Probably doesn't translate near as well to print, but she kills me - her timing was great. :)
I was so depressed this morning I almost didn't want to go to work. It's just that this apartment is so full to overflowing with all our crap - there's just walkways all around between the boxes like a little rat maze, and I know I have to sit down and sort and pitch stuff. I do so hate having to do that. I stopped off to talk with Lum Lum before I came home tonight, and she gave me some good advice which I probably won't follow - she suggested I should just close my eyes and get
My shoulders ache, wicked.
