Yesterday there was a newspaper in the breakroom with a picture from the horrible stuff going on in that American detainment prison in Iraq - the female American soldier who's in so many of the pictures apparently dragging an Iraqi man along the floor by a strap around his neck. As I walked into the breakroom my co-workers were commenting that this behavior starts from the top down. The general consensus was that it goes back to Rumsfeld and Bush and the fact that they've given the impression that they think Iraqi detainees don't deserve the Geneva Convention starting right from the point where they detained the people in Guantanimo without any due process of the law.

Someone (I will call this person A in the conversation) said, "That's the government for you. Before you know it we'll be back in the Director's office, naked, with a chain around our necks - 'who told you this? when??'" Our managers have repeatedly hauled different people back into offices and grilled them on who said what - person B who was in this particular conversation had this happen a number of times.

Person C present chimed in, patting Person B on the shoulder, "And then they make you Lead."

B hid her face in her hands, laughing uncontrollably and pretending she was crying - "Yes, it's true! The pictures will be out, soon!" Yes, she was unaccountably promoted to Lead, suddenly liked by the upper management after all those conflicts.

C added, "Someone needs to add a caption to this picture - 'TSA Management in training.'"

Thanks. :) I admired it on Beat Soup (http://www.beatsoup.com/)'s site for a couple of years, and then asked them if I could use it. Tom said he thought Dan had just stolen it from someone else, so it shouldn't be a problem... so I await someone, someday, jumping down my neck asking why I'm using it without permission.;)
