I just finished reading "Lens of the World" (R.A. MacAvoy). Lovely book! The only pity was it had to end. And I want to tell you all about it, but I don't want to ruin it for you. Just try to picture if you got to see the inside of Grasshopper(from "Kung Fu")'s head, and he had ambiguous sexuality and issues from having been sexually abused as a child. I wonder if there's a sequel. Or fanfic. 8) Oh I want fanfic, and I'll bet my chances of finding any are slim to nil. Oh! oh oh oh! *dances* It IS part of a trilogy! Except, annoyingly enough, it's not clear what the title of the second book is. Amazon seems to indicate that I can buy the first and third books, but not the second, and not giving me any clue what the second is. Ah, here we go, it's "King of the Dead," and apparently they're all available as e-books.

I wonder if there's an e-book reader which would take any format and also be convenient to carry around? I would find it convenient to not be tethered to my computer to read my fanfic.

Edited to add: I have [livejournal.com profile] matushan to thank for getting me hooked on yet another series. Yay! ;) I think I'm only going to be a tiny bit dissapointed in the last book, because the reviews say the main character has only just started to get involved with another guy when she ends the story rather suddenly and patly.

edited yet again to add... please don't laugh at me, I have no understanding whatsoever of PDAs. To me the acronym still means "Public Display of Affection." Apparently people read books on them? *cocks head unbelievingly* They have an actual use? Beyond being a nifty keen pocket organizer with a big touch screen?
