Actually, yes. Last time was when I was driving a cargo van through Texas. Accurate way of telling how large a rural Texas town is: has it got a Dairy Queen? If so, it has more than a thousand people. if not, then not. Seriously, any town of more than 1,000 people along the road from San Antonio to Uvalde had a Dairy Queen within sight of the highway.
