I decided I should attempt to do something useful today, so I posted "Solvent" and "The Sleeping Aid" on my own website (although I think I lost something else on that page as I posted them), and Chapter Eight of "A Walk In The Karakorum" on the Daegaer Rules the Net site. I'm moving along so damn slowly on that, but I feel compelled to read each chapter again to make sure it posted right. I should really just post and hope someone else reads it and lets me know.

I hope the slightly more risque stories on my site don't cause any tension at work. One of my co-workers had suggested she might let her daughter (11, I think) look at my stories, because she liked "Ennui" so much. I told her I wasn't sure they were all acceptable. I hope she reads them before sending her daughter there. That's why "The Sleeping Aid" has the warning "DON'T go there if you're underage and your parental unit will get upset (particularly if your Mom is 6ft tall and works with me)."

Am still reading more Wodehouse, and still loving it. I'm very fond of Bertie.:) The story that didn't have him in it (Jeeves was working for someone else while Bertie attended a school to teach young gentlemen how to get along on their own - needless to say, he was kicked out) was just not quite as good, although it was still funny.
