fozzie33 because when I was reminded to check my map by his post I noticed that many of my friend's locations are completely wrong. I know tootsiemuppet should be next to cygny in Belgium, but she appears in England instead, and according to this lekythen lives in the ocean somewhere west of the Outer Hebrides and both rowantree and mawlee live somewhere north of Alaska. I wonder how the map comes up with these notions?
And this is what happens if I allow myself to go online before getting myself rolling for the day - way too distractable. I have, however, been reminded of the difference between the Outer Hebrides, Orkneys and Shetland Islands, and incidently learned that the Shetlands used to be part of Norway (until the 1470's - at which point Wikipedia says they were 'pawned' to Scotland, but I couldn't find the explanaition of how that happened. I guess it means Norway was low on money, but thought they might buy the islands back at some point. I wonder if they could, still?)
