It's an unfinished story (argh!) but I have to rec Lobelia Sackville-Baggins's Code of the Brandybucks, a slashy sort of alternate-universe or possibly pre-LOTR story written in a P.G. Wodehouse style with our favorite hobbits hanging around the manor house and gardens playing pranks and golf. Lots of witty banter, romantic comedy and hot hobbit sex. >:> What's not to like? Aside from the point that it's still unfinished. But if lots of people leave her feedback, maybe someday she will. It's been an effective distraction from my NaNo. Now I'm putting up my Industrious icon to remind myself to get back to work.
