Yes, I'm actually reading "Pride and Prejudice," finally. Well, I've committed to it in my mind now that I've gotten to page 94. I could have sworn I saw the movie, but so far this doesn't bear any resemblance to the movie I saw. Occasionally I wonder if this is a badly proofed edition, because it seems like something gets lost in the middle of a paragraph or even a sentence. I think I know who's talking and suddenly I realize it's someone else talking. Is that normal for Austen?

I have the same problem. The paragraphs are so long, and the dialogue goes on forever sometimes. It's easy to get mixed up.
There's an older, black-and-white film, and then the A&E miniseries (with Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy!!) but I don't think there have been any other popular film versions. You might be thinking of Sense and Sensibility, for seeing the movie. I get those 2 titles confused.
