Basically, I have to lose fifteen pounds. And I don't disagree that I need to lose fifteen pounds - probably more. The only thing that annoys me is that she didn't ask me any questions before she made this judgement, just weighed me. And the other pains are 'completely normal' - again, without asking me any questions about them. She thinks losing weight will solve the irregular and too-heavy periods. She thinks the breast pains are just glandular spasms. I'm thinking of getting a new doctor. This is the second time I've been to her and I think I've decided that we just don't click. But I'll try to lose the weight before I ask for a second opinion. The only thing she suggested which might be useful is getting my thyroid checked, but I don't think it's worthwhile at the moment. Last time (three years ago) it was checked it was fine, and I'm less active now, (I move baggage, but that's not much) so it's just not surprising that I'm overweight. I'm not like Big Mama (SS for you TSA/PWM people who might be reading - she's long gone for you newbies, though still much talked about), who did Tai Bo and could kick someone in the head, yet remained looking somewhat like a beach ball. I think she has a thyroid problem.
