eor decided to also scan my report cards from nineth grade.  He was surprised to find that I did well in everything except Art.  Even Math was about the same as everything else, he says, although I assured him that was only because I took the very easiest Math. :)  Typical of me.  I think I got a C, if not lower, in the first Art course I took in college.  I suspect that may have been because I was very focused on line drawing and didn't enjoy being distracted by paints, clay, collages, etc. 

I'm going to say it again - I think wood stoves should be banned from in town. We don't have an option of opening a window on the other side of the house, but when we open the window in order to get some cold air in, the smoke from next door comes in as well.

I at about 5:30 I set out to the grocery store and heard this odd hissing sound as I walked to the car on my way out. Tiny ice pellets falling from the sky. Not much at that point, but by the time I got out of the store (a matter of ten minutes, perhaps) it had increased to the point that even just walking was a little slippery. I hope it's not horrible tomorrow morning.
