Really.  Not.  So I didn't just go read [livejournal.com profile] mizzmarvel 's post about getting the British versions of the Harry Potter books.  Not at all.  And I certainly did not just do this quiz...

I'm reading "Mirror, Mirror," Gregory Maguire's fanfic of "Snow White."  That's how I think of all his stuff - published fanfic.  I wasn't really into it until today, close to a hundred pages along.  But now she's grown up, and the dwarves have finally really made an appearance, and I find myself becoming much more interested. :)  The dwarves are some kind of nature spirit, spirit of rocks, apparently.  Something like that.  He doesn't really bother to explain things as thoroughly as I might like.

I loved Maguire's "Chronicles of an Ugly Stepsister" (something like that), but I'm in the minority when I say that I hated "Wicked." Guess he's kind of hit or miss with me.

And I liked both of those, but really didn't like "Lost" at all. To be fair, though, the day I was reading that my life seemed way too much like that of the character in the story. She was going around and around in circles of habits and thoughts that she couldn't seem to break out of, and I was spending the day getting tested and waiting in halls and going for another test and yet more tests, and then filling out forms.... It wasn't a good combination.
