I finished Around the World in Eighty Days. There is no balloon scene. The picture on the front cover of the paperback edition I have shows Fogg and Passpartout in a balloon, and Jaylow, when she saw me reading it, recalled, "I remember the balloon scene from the movie!" It must have been invented for the movie with David Niven and the illustrator who did the book cover must have seen that.
Now I can get on to reading Mike and Psmith, and the other Psmith stories
eor has set up for me on the ebook, Psmith in the City and Psmith, Journalist. I'm going to go into Psmith overload. :)

Until I figured out that I had two books in one and the other one was "Five Weeks" >.< *sigh* It took me until the last ten pages of '80 Days' to figure that out. My slowness astounds even me sometimes.
I've got my Psmith books here waiting for me and STILL doggedly stick to my Dostoevsky. Feeling very proud over the fact (well, actually, not really, it's quite nice to read, but I'd still rather read Plum, of course).
Ah, Psmith, how I adore you...
