I thought I'd get something done, today, but of course I read friendslist stuff and perused pictures of [livejournal.com profile] lucylou dressed as Oscar Wilde and read the most recent installment of Green Ice on [livejournal.com profile] adina_atl's journal, and began to read that "Bend It Like Beckham" fic that's on [livejournal.com profile] contralamontra (by [livejournal.com profile] guede_mazaka), but didn't get very far...

...because actually we've got to get on the road, shortly, for Boston, to the follow-up appointment for [livejournal.com profile] eor's ear.  Now we get to find out how the healing process has gone, and what all that apparatus is that I seem to see when I peer down into his new, much wider, ear canal.  When he asked me what it looked like the best I could do was, "It looks like a clear plastic drop ceiling, with a plastic pipe going down and then a metal bar inside the end of the plastic pipe going off at a different angle."  Er.  Yeah.  I'm probably misinterpreting what I'm seeing and it's actually nothing like that.  I don't recall the doctor mentioning anything about plastic drop ceilings and plastic pipes and metal bars, but maybe he included that all under the heading of "packing," which he told me to not remove.

And before and after the appointment we intend to eat both our lunch and dinner at the Indian restaurant, Shalimar, in Cambridge.  (not to be confused with the Shalimar store which is across the street.)  :):)
