For those of my co-workers interested in what jimdes is up to, he's decided to stay up there another year.

eor has posted his summary of our weekend.

I got a call back from my brother Eightball, and we chatted a bit, which was a very nice thing. :)  From his cellphone while he was driving.  Dork.  He said he was in completely gridlocked traffic so it was okay, but then later on in the conversation he said he was driving through these short little hills and might lose me, so I tried to get off the phone soon after that because obviously he was now moving. 

Eightball: "This is the area where that guy... can't think of his name.  Aging, balding, former action hero?" 
Me: "Bruce Willis?" 
Eightball: "Yeah!  How'd you know?  Yeah, he just did a movie in this area."

Oh, and - I continue to be a fuck up with AIM.  I sent to bravecows, walked away to get some things done, and when I got back she had sent to me... and that had been half an hour before.  And I sent some things back to her, but she apparently didn't see them and signed off soon after.  Unless she was just pissed at me for ignoring her.  (Sorry, Afrai!)

no, no, the web-client for AIM is totally fucked up and requires my clicking on your name repeatedly to see anything new that either you or I have said. Which got annoying after a while, so I went away. Sorry I dint say goodbye, I should've really, but I wasn't sure if you were still there. :)

Grr. To be home, where my AIM is workable! alas, alas etc.
