eor has posted the story of the camping trip and a separate entry for the Church Pond hike (because it needed more attention), with pictures! :)

I have been kind of good - sat down and wrote snail mail to my brother, Eightball. I know I talked to him on the phone only a few days ago, but I hadn't managed to get Mom's snail address to him. I spoke to my brother Hawk, and also our Dad, yesterday on the phone, and attempted to call back Big Mama (ex-co-worker), so am really doing well in the keeping in touch department. Well for me, which means better than nothing, because I generally totally suck about keeping in touch.
