I have a little change purse kinda thing, flat, with a zipper across the top, just big enough to fit my credit cards, ID, bills (if I fold them in quarters), which is dark green with a brown design - some sort of random repetitive thing on one side, but on the 'front' it has a horse's head and forelegs with some sort of stylized Greek-looking thing that might be wings. Unfortunately the little purse is so old, now, that it's more like a net with frays. I suspect I've had it for ten years, it wasn't new when I got it, and it's been in and out of my pocket forty thousand million times. I had attached the keychain which
However, it's time for me to let go and move along. I'm sad.
It's replacement was bought last night. It's not so much me, but it's cute, and a little more practical, perhaps, because it has a long string with which to hang it over my shoulder. This little purse is only about an inch taller, has little bells on it, and a sequined elephant outlined in glittery thread. Completely the opposite in terms of style - I've gone from understated to overstated. :) And I probably shouldn't tell you all about it because we also bought a mate to it which will soon be in a package on it's way to

The last thing taking up precious space on my 'biner are a set of tag cards: from Videoport (where I rarely go because we almost never get around to watching movies), Shaw's (which I don't frequent often because I used to work for Hannaford, who's their biggest competitor in this area), Harvard Book Store (the only purpose this card serves is as a memento of

eek! *heart*

Aww, I like knowing these things. I don't really like carrying a lot of stuff around with me myself; I tend to forget things like mobile phones and wallets and, um, lip balm (*g*). The only thing I always take around with me is my keys, because I have a terror of getting locked out of my room.

Somehow I feel like the things one chooses to carry around is like a little slice of personality. And now I'm flashing on when my Dad read The Hobbit to us when we were little, doing Gollum's voice: "What has it got in it's pocketses?" (That's something I quite often actually say to myself, because I'm always finding things I didn't realize I had.)
