Some things that have been distracting me...

jimdes writes about Sandra Day O'Connor's retirement. 

eor writes about female Marines being killed. 

I guess one of the most interesting things to me was that jimdes and eor had back and forth over both these topics.  I do enjoy listening in as smart people converse. 

And daegaer wrote many many ficlets, today, which are lovely, but I should definitely mention First Date since she kindly said it was for me and eor. :)  I passed on his suggestion that one of the Schwartz group would make a good match with Death, and I think she made the perfect choice with Farfarello, since he's just that insane - and she even took my suggestion that assassins might annoy Death by messing up his schedule.  *grins happily*

Now, must sleep.  Didn't sleep well last night, so kind of tired.  Tomorrow I have to do everything, because Sunday I drive to Belfast to visit Dad and see my stepsister's twin babies. :)  (Also, of course, her older daughter, who is a lovely and bright little girl, but this will be the first time for seeing the twins, because they live in Kentucky or some such place.)

Yes, I have stepsisters.  Three of them, and two step brothers.  People are usually surprised when I tell them that, because I don't mention them often.  I only lived with them during high school, and we don't keep in touch very well, and they generally don't seem to care to keep in touch with me, either.  Not that they hate me... I don't think, but I think Dad pushed her to phone me so that I would visit.
