After the yard work we went over to Buck's Naked Barbeque and ate like two pounds of meat apiece. Eor had ribs, and I had chicken, pulled pork, steak tips, ribs, sausage, cole slaw and a baked potato which I didn't quite finish, prompting Eor to ask me if I was not feeling well. "Have aliens kidnapped my [derien] and left an inadequate substitute? You left a bite of potato. [Derien] would never do that." Then came home and laid on the floor and groaned for a while. We managed, however, to get ourselves to walk up to the corner book store and I got a Terry Pratchett book ("Unseen Academicals") which I then happily immersed myself in until Eor suggested I could do the grocery shopping and bring home ice-cream. And when I got home with the ice-cream we had sundaes! With Death By Chocolate sauce, and, in my case, Rum Caramel sauce as well! What a day of indulgence and delight. ;D Lots of meat, a new book AND ice-cream - life doesn't get much better.
