I sort of felt like I missed out on something by not going to Borders at midnight (I don't know that they were doing anything, but I would assume they wouldn't miss out).  I felt like if I wasn't going to preorder the book I should have some reason for not saving that money, like getting involved in the fun.  However, I cured myself of that, and of wanting to read the book right away.  I went and read some spoilers.  If what I gather from them is true, I can wait a few weeks until this hits the second-hand book stores, because I suspect I'm not going to be thrilled by this book.

Twice this weekend I almost bought it, but put it down. I can't afford to be distracted, with movers coming on Wednesday. I'll buy it later this week, as our treat while we drive X-country.

If it sucks, then maybe we can file it under "travel expenses" and get reimbursed for it! :)
