What the hell.
Stolen from both [livejournal.com profile] bravecows and [livejournal.com profile] daegaer:
Ask me for "top five" lists of pretty much anything, and I will list you my top five of that thing or things.

Maybe I'll have the energy to post tomorrow morning.  I had a rotten day.  But I cooked dinner, had a drink, and calmed down.  I think I can sleep.

Oh... wait.  I should phone my brother and see what his travel plans are.  Given he's in Seattle it should be just about the right time to phone him.  Hawk's coming to visit!  Yaaaaaaay! :)

Top Five Flowers:

1) Lilacs
2) Those orange lilies with the darker orange speckles and stripes coming from the middle. I always wanted to call them tiger lilies, my grandmother told me they were day lilies, but all the pictures I can find online under either of those names don't match.
3) Black Eyed Susans
4) Wild roses (much simpler than regular roses, just one row of petals.)
5) Dandelions

(I was actually amazed at how hard this was. I don't know flowers!)

Top five distinct feelings of happiness. (e. g. the happiness of finding your keys after looking everywhere and giving up hope -- not in a dramatic Anathema Device "if I give up hope now and look around, they will be there!" way, but really giving up hope.)

Also, top five things you'd like to see in a parcel from Malaysia. *is plagiarist omg*

P. S. The elephant onna purse's name is Jo, short for Josephine. And the jelly beans are really cool. *heart*

Oh my - I'm sorry, I didn't answer this!

I'm glad Jo survived the perils of the trip, and I've been giving thought to the forms of happiness - a very Afrai question, Eor thinks. He suspects you have a goal of making the whole world happy, because it's a good thing to think about forms of happiness. I'm amazed at how many there are. Now I have to choose a top five!

And things in a parcel from Malaysia... oh, hard.

Hee! I'm really not that altruistic; I just like thinking about happiness myself. And I am interested in your answer. *pokes you* aaaanswer!

And things in a parcel from Malaysia... oh, hard.

Well, you gots to give me a hint, 'cos I am terrible at getting people things otherwise. or -- oo, maybe I could make up a themed parcel! That would be fun. *plots*

Five forms of happiness...

1) (in my mind, right now) The happiness of anticipating someone you love spending time with coming to visit! :)

2) The happiness of accomplishing mundane, dull stuff which should be done all the time but you normally avoid. (Having just mopped the three major rooms of our apartment twice over... and Eor has dusted and packed stuff away in the closet, and I got rid of the glass-topped coffee table and two matching end tables - yay!)

3) The happiness of finding just the right word, or the solution to some problem you've been picking and poking at.

4) The happiness of waking up on a rainy morning and realizing that you can roll over and go back to sleep because it's your day off. (And yay, I'm going to sleep in tomorrow! It would be even better if it turned out to be raining when I woke up, though. ;))

5) The happiness of being able to do little nice things for people.

I actually had trouble stopping with five. Seriously. I'd never have expected it of me, so you've shown me something. Now I've got to go experience the happiness of going to bed, which is definetly distinct from the happiness of sleeping in, though not by much. ;)
