I finally figured out how to transcribe mizzmarvel's phone posts of the trip from California to Indiana, so I went back and did all of them.  :)  Well, 'all' - there were only three.  Transcription takes a while.  But I wish now that she had done more.  They have that surreal/mundane quality so redolent of road trips.

I've been seeing that you posted more, the last couple-few days, but I had company - Dad and brother - so couldn't sit down and transcribe. :(
