Spent it finishing up a beta read for someone.
12 hours of work yesterday, 6.5 hours overtime on my day off, tomorrow. And to think - I'm not getting paid for it, right now. I'm going to have to keep close track. Will probably have to fight for this pay, later. Word is we may not even get our locality pay. (There's base pay for all TSA personnel across the country, and then a locality adjustment for how expensive it is to live in your area.) Though I'm sure they're going to have no problem taking out all the usual deductions.
A fire alarm in the back hall started beeping, in the middle of last night. Then it faded away. Faded back in for a few moments, faded out again. I'm imagining that there's now a pillow strapped to the ceiling with duct tape, covering a still-beeping fire alarm.
