What I really mean to say is, thank you for the rec - I wouldn't have known about the story without it! And thank you for the kind comment on my story, too. :-)
Is there something similar about Tin Man and House? Crazy people paired with stolid, dependable types, perhaps?
Oh, I like that insight! There's an added layer in that we also have a sweet-natured people person paired with an antisocial grouch ... but those attributes are distributed along different lines than in House! (I'm now trying to figure out whether Cuddy is more like DG or the Queen. Look what you put into my brain!)
I wrote a Tin Man/House crossover once. :-) (I suppose House is almost infinitely crossable; just as the TARDIS can land anywhere, anyone can walk into Princeton Plainsboro.)
