I didn't want to talk about the social engagement, earlier, because it was a surprise party, for CeeJay's birthday - and, apparently we surprised him. :)
I got a little surprised, too - I went over 'early' (I thought) to help decorate, and it had all been done. ElvenGirl said she turned her back for five minutes and Mistress of the Night and Mr. Mainertoo had it all done. So, I didn't really get to contribute... anything.
Had lots of fun, though. :) ElvenGirl had come up with silly kid games to play - Pin The Tail On The Donkey (any excuse to have a few drinks and then get spun around with a blindfold on), Balloon Bust (everyone cheats!) and Mummy Wrap - and she had balloons with fortunes inside, and lots of little prizes for everything. I got a tiny magic eightball! I have no idea why I've always wanted one of those and never got one, but I have, and now I have. :) I didn't exactly win it, I got it for allowing myself to be wrapped as a mummy, in toilet paper. See, I can't excel in skills, but I'll allow myself to be humiliated and laughed at, and that counts for something. ;)
Mainertoo had incredibly good aim with the donkey tail - I almost have to believe he'd managed to cheat, somehow. He got it right below the donkey's belly, just in front of it's legs. When he took his blindfold off and saw where he'd gotten it, he stroked the 'tail'...
Oh... and guys seem to like it when a woman licks frosting off a big knife. ;)
