Oh, I had forgotten about this...  Before I left for vacation, [livejournal.com profile] daegaer kindly gave me

1.Would you ever change your allegiance from The Real Ghostbusters cartoon to The Ghostbusters cartoon?

Too easy to answer, for the wrong reasons - I've never seen 'The Ghostbusters' cartoon and have no clue what it's like.  If it has Ray and Winston, and more subtext for them, I might be convinced.:)

2.What is your ideal job?

Advance Reader, Owner of a second-hand bookshop and part-time Writer?  Either that or pool cleaner.  As I found out when I was in Florida, using the little net to fish things out of the pool is really relaxing.

3.You are dropped on a desert island that has all basic necessities of life.  What five luxuries have you brought with you?

Paper, Pencils, Erasers, Pens and Tea.  If I stayed there long enough I might produce a comic book. :)

4.What's the wildest colour you have (or would like to) dye your hair?

One red streak in the front.  I have done it before, but my hairdresser talked me into a much tamer red than I wanted.  And I really could have gotten the brighter color, she didn't understand that the environment I was working in was very accepting.

5.Is there any food you just can't eat (for non-medical reasons)?

I'm sure there's lots of things that some people consider food but I couldn't eat out of squeamishness, but for commonly eaten things - Rare meat.  Particularly hamburger.  Meat must be cooked all the way through.  Dry is fine.  I just realized over vacation, when I visited with my Aunt, that this is a family thing, because of how her mother/my grandmother cooked.  I always loved her cooking. :)

Anyone who wants to be interviewed by me, say the word. :)

the word :-)

btw - The Ghostbusters cartoon is crap. There's no Ray No Winston, no Peter or Egon - there's two guys and a gorilla!

1) Has it always been Chris Barrie? Or when you were in high school did you have a different famous person crush?

2) Aside from being with your beloved, have you found that moving to the UK has been better than you thought it would be, just what you expected, or not so great as you'd hoped?

3) What was your favorite toy as a child?

4) What are the best and worst things you've found about living in your new town?

5) Marmite - love it or hate it?

From: [identity profile] luvsrimmer.livejournal.com

1) Gosh no - although I had actually seen Chris Barrie back when I watched The Young Ones on Mtv. Hmm in high school I think it was Michael Stipe for the most part. Back when he had all that gorgeous curly long hair.

2) About what I expected. Though the weather has been colder than I thought (think that's a fluke recently though).

3) Well my favorite stuffed toy was Henry (brown beagle-ish dog, kind of like Snoopy with a tan LOL). Favorite game - I used to like to play Hungry Hungry Hippos. Favorite other toy I guess would be Star Wars figures or Barbies - something where I used my imagination to create all kinds of scenarios.

4) Best (apart from being with Alex) is the convenience of the twice-weekly market in the high street. Worst - the fact that we don't have a shower (only a tub). But I get my shower fix when we visit his parents so it's all good :-)

5) UGH!!! YUCK!!! BLEAH!!!! HATEITHATEITHATEIT! I hate the stuff so much that even when I had the opportunity to go to a radio station and meet my fave DJ because I guessed his Word In Your Ear, I didn't go cause the prize was a jar of Marmite! Incidentally, I won because I knew that VAT, in adiition to being a tax included in the price of goods in the UK, also stands for Vodka And Tonic.

Did you have to eat the stuff in front of him? If not, you could just have gone to meet the DJ, taken the jar and given it to someone who liked it. :)

well that and I couldn't be arsed to get up early on a Friday morning and get it on my day off. We did see that same DJ in a local Indian restaurant in Northampton (though I was too chicken to go interrupt his meal I did email him at the station the next day and say "Was that you at India Palace last night?" and he replied that it was one of his fave restaurants). Sigh... I kinds miss listening to WRNX now.

Oh, so you were exposed to it before you moved to the U.K.! That's so funny! I have only really heard of it as a U.K. thing. :)

I'm not sure I want a Ghostbusters 3. Think how much older they all are. Hm, could be cool, though, if they had some trainees. They could be all Old Master-ey, like Cohen the Barbarian - "You don't live to be old in this game if you're brave!"

1) What's your favorite children's show?

2) If you had to change your voice so that it sounded like someone else's, whose voice would you choose and why?

3) What's on the floor of your closet?

4) You're someone who's intelligence I greatly respect. Tell me one deeply, inarguably stupid comedy movie that reduces you to tears of laughter.

5) If you were a crayon, what color would you be?
