I boiled my eggs and one of them sort of popped, so I chose that one to peel first.  It tasted kind of fishy, even though I'd dipped it in taco sauce.  So I tossed it out, thinking maybe it had popped because of expansion of gasses which it had in it because it was going bad.  Peeled the next one.  It tasted a bit fishy to me, too.  I ate it, anyway. 

I've been buying these omega 3 eggs the past few weeks, in the attempt to raise my good cholesterol, and I haven't noticed them tasting fishy, before.  I did have this notion that the way to get high omega 3 in eggs was to feed the chickens fish meal, but they say on the carton that the chickens are fed grains.  So I'm wondering, now... would they lie in order to sell eggs to vegans?  Or is it possible the eggs actually were going bad?  (doesn't seem likely, as I eat so many that they turn around quickly, and I ate the other half of the package with no problem.) 

Or am I just in one of those anti-egg slumps that happens every now and then?

And if I have to go off eggs for a while, what the hell am I going to eat?  They're pretty much the staple of my diet.

My mum hardly eats any eggs because of her cholesterol and neither did my dad. So I doubt that if you eat that many eggs, even ones who say raise the good cholesterol, can keep the bad to a good level, even eggs especially manipulated for that. But I love eggs too and the bread we make just tastes so much better if we put an egg in the ingredients and I'd be sad if I had to go without them as well, even if I probably don't eat as many as you.

How often do you have your cholesterol levels checked? Or how long has it been? Maybe you could see if there's an improvement (although after a few weeks, I doubt there would be already) and if not, try to find something to replace them after all?
