I must draw your attention to [livejournal.com profile] eor's Better Than Chocolate icons, because, hey, Karyn Dwyer is amazingly gorgeous! :)  Honestly, I can't believe this movie made 30 million dollars.  It was crammed with cliches and had the acting level of an After School Special, but you really must see it. :)  And not only for Karyn Dwyer posing 'nude but for signs.'  Although that would be enough.

Not that I'm knocking the After School Specials, mind you.  Kids all made fun of them, but often watched because there was nothing else on, and for the most part they used that power for good.  A lot of it was miserable, but they also attempted to tackle some difficult subjects, for the time, with titles like "What If I'm Gay," "Please Don't Hit Me, Mom," (for his hardcore fans, Sean Astin was in that) and "Date Rape."  I remember liking The Amazing Cosmic Awareness of Duffy Moon, particularly the character of Boots McAfee. ;)

...

OMG, Sean Astin played the part of Harrison Bergeron!  I didn't realize that!
