On a positive note

I've been trying to shake the winter blahs and get enthusiastic about life, again.  One nice thing - last weekend my cousins described me to their friend as 'the one who always did things her own way,' and said that if they had followed my example they might not be in therapy, now.  I find this ironically amusing in contrast to my state of mind, lately, but it does make me think about my life and remember that really it's not so bad at all. 

Also, the sun is bright and the sky is blue, and I'm leaving for work, now.  For some reason I had been under the misapprehension that it's warm out - probably because it's ridiculously hot in our apartment, and even opening the window hasn't made much difference.  I'm glad I checked, because in fact it's exactly freezing out - 32F/0C.

And, gosh, Alby and Daegaer battle! That sounds too cute! I do hope you're surreptitiously taking pics. ;) (I'd like sound recordings as well, but I'm sure that's not likely. ;))

Well, sound recordings not as much as video evidence :P I'd have to ask Daegaer if she doesn't mind anyone seeing it though :) But pics will definitely be posted.

Today we're going to Flanders Field and WWI and II remains and then off to drink the best beer in the world (but not me, since I have to drive) in the freezing cold and wind as well :( Have put on many layers of clothing :P
