It's kind of cool having a new email client. It's all empty and clean and nice, and the mailboxes open like they're supposed to! I was keeping all the mailboxes open in the old one, just minimizing them, because if I closed them they didn't open up right, later. I mean, it was Eudora 3.something, which was about a billion years old. Now I've got Eudora 7.something. :) Now I have to populate the addresses. Schaweet! No old addresses of people who I haven't heard from in a billion years. :)
I'm also feeling happier that if we had an apartment fire our websites (including Daegaer.rulesthe.net ) won't be lost.
However, I do have to either call the binne email list dead or find a new way to run it. I've considered using a Yahoo group, but it may not be the easiest answer. What's a good way to run an email list, these days? Yahoo groups is nice because, unlike LJ and a lot of other places, you don't have to have a Yahoo id - you can subscribe any email to a Yahoo group. But Yahoo seems to be phasing the groups out, far as I can tell. It's impossible to find a group on Yahoo that is what you want.
