The first 10 people to comment on this post get to request a drabble (real drabble: 100 words exactly) from you. In return, they have to post this in their journal and write a drabble for you. Post all fandoms you're willing to write for. (this is optional; you don't HAVE to do it in return, but it would be pretty spiffy if you did)

Your friends can pick a relationship, a story arc, a missing scene, or pretty much anything they want, unless the author has previously mentioned that they will not write it. They comment with what they want, and you write drabbles and post it in your LiveJournal.

I don't know what fandoms I think I can write - truthfully, I don't feel like I can write, at the moment, so I guess I'm doing this to force myself.  Not that it'll matter, because rarely does anyone respond to a meme I post.

I'll attempt any of the following...

Red Dwarf, Seasons One through Four.
(Wodehouse) Mike and Psmith, Psmith in the City, Psmith Journalist.
(Wodehouse) Jeeves and Wooster, any character in the first few books.
Good Omens, any character.
Discworld - aside from the most recent 2 or 3 books.
Real Ghostbusters
Four Feathers (book or movie)
Star Trek: TOS/TNG & DS9 (I can't do "Enterprise" or "Voyager," haven't seen those series)
Futurama
Blackadder (may require research, but I'd be happy to oblige! ;))
Gilligan's Island (oh what the hell)

And now it's off to bed with me.  It's been a loooong day, but I got to see the wonderful [livejournal.com profile] matushan and meet her delightful baby, Esme!  What a doll.  And [livejournal.com profile] eor was so good at interacting with her - he always thinks he doesn't know how to deal with kids, but he obviously has a knack for it, and he could distract her quickly if she got fussy.  She had a tummy ache, so even though she seems like a naturally happy kid, she did have some unhappy spells.

And we also got to walk around Amherst, MA a bit, which is a lovely place with lots of little shops where you can get all the essentials of life - books, music, caffeine - live music happening on the commons, and lots of college students.

All in all, a pleasant day. :)

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I read this right after my mock was over, and I can't tell you how much it brightened my day. Just, eee, Psmith! Mike in only his pants! The risk of being caught in your pants should be incentive -- hee, Psmith so evil. I love the things left unsaid in the last line -- so gorgeously slashy, and so very Wodehouse.

Thank you! *dances you SO MUCH*

Again, [livejournal.com profile] eor gets credit for the idea - "Strip chess! Then you can use 'mate!' as the last line!" Seriously, he is the idea man. As far as writing, though, I'm the executioner. Executrix? So I can take credit for all the wording and dialogue, and I believe I will, very happily, if you like it. ;)

The wording and dialogue are spot-on. And you know wacky ideas were essential to Wodehouse, but it was really his language that lifted his stories to the sublime. So there!
