I seem to have been possessed by a demon yesterday - I pulled everything out of the closet in the guest bedroom and now it's all piled in the living room with little notes on top of everything saying where it's going to go... eventually. Eor was not best pleased with this turn of events, given he's already overwhelmed at work and piles make an Eor unhappy. So today went back to what he wants to concentrate on - I worked on the garden, turning over the dirt and trying to get bamboo roots out of the bed he's going to put the herbs and peppers and other little baby plants into. I got a lot of roots out, so I shouldn't feel too badly, I guess, but I worked for an hour (and am beat) and the bed is not halfway finished, I think. :(

My next brilliant plan was to leave for work early so as to stop at Target and get some storage boxes for all these clothes. Yeah, that didn't happen. I thought I was going to stick the little baby plants out on the porch, but there's supposed to be thunderstorms later, so I had to water them in the sink, which means waiting until they drain, so I might as well make my breakfast while I wait... Yeah, I don't think I'll be leaving all that early.

Possibly unkindest of all, I had Hotel California stuck in my head. So now I'm listening to Leon Redbone, which is very soothing. :)

I'm looking forward to throwing baggage, today, but I think it's going to be ruined for me; they're probably going to ask me to start prepping people for recertification testing. Yesterday there was an hour or two when we were all standing around at the Checkpoint and I was going absolutely insane with boredom - it would have been a perfect time for sending people out for training, but the person in charge seemed oblivious. (Restraining myself saying more.) I got a wicked headache from it. Frustration.

You and your gardening and general productiveness. I still haven't done a thing with my garden. My excuse is that winter seems to have come back here.

I hate songs sticking in the head. All day I've had a ridiculous faux-rap song stuck in my brain. As well as being generally annoying it's just... so innapropriate somehow!
