Hawk was successfully delivered to Manchester airport, and I found my way home with only one wrong turn - I got on 93 South and headed toward Nashua. That fits, as last night when
eor was trying to tell me how to get home I kept getting confused between Nashua and Manchester. Hey, it was four years ago that I worked in Nashua once a week, and also drove 101 on a daily basis, and as we all know my gray matter is not particularly adroit at the memory business - I swapped the locations of the two towns in my head.
Anyway. I still made it home in time for my coffee appointment with the ex-coworker. Only, she didn't show. So I proceeded a little earlier than I had intended to the next item on the agenda, which was getting the car inspected. Simple enough - drive it out to Sears and kick around the Mall for an hour and a half while they did that.
Upon my return home I made food. My cousin showed up with more journals for Eor to scan just as I finished cooking a late lunch, so that obligation is out of the way. All of a sudden the rest of my afternoon was free!! I got to read fic over my meal!! And all was happiness. :) Now I feel like falling into a coma, what with finally getting some real food combined with the sleep deprivation (got up at 3:15AM in order to get Hawk to Manchester on time, and we hadn't got to bed until at least after 11PM - probably well after).
But. No more social obligations until Next Friday! We just have to get all the housework, grocery shopping and laundry done during the work week, somehow, so that we'll be ready to receive Butonquail and Eightball.
