Meeting the personal trainer today at 9:30.  I haven't waked myself up properly, yet, and it's almost nine.  What do I say to her?  "I never wear sweat pants.  Don't own any.  I don't believe in having clothing for only one purpose."  A blatant lie, really, because I don't wear my bodices every day.  One I rarely wear at all.  And "Sorry I stink.  I never take a shower before I go to the gym.  Waste of time, really."  What a freaking slacker I am.  Hey, I put on a clean shirt today, what do you want?

I was going to post this private, but why not reveal my slackerdom to the world?  You all know I'm like this, by now.

A shower before the gym? I agree, totally pointless.

I really do need to start taking a bit of excercise though. It's ridiculous how little I do. And then if I ever have to run for a bus or anything I get out of breath and s stitch in about two minutes. It's pathetic for a person of my age! I just can't get the motivation though.

The only thing about my attire which the trainer said was that if I was walking to work in those sneakers I might want to consider getting a new pair. I admitted to her that my friend had bought them at a thrift store and worn them for a while before passing them on to me a few years ago. ;) I haven't been walking to work in them, but I did do the 1.5 hours on the treadmill the other day in those. I'm still comfortable in them, but the rubber is getting hard like an old eraser, making the traction not so good.
