Alright. I think I just doubled the length of chapter three of my Pseudo Victorian Boys Adventure, but that wouldn't be hard. It was a pretty short chapter, before. Now I'll start cooking lamb curry. Must look at the recipe. Earlier today I made au gratin potatoes, and this is no small time investment what with making white sauce and layering up the slices of potatoes with the white sauce. And then I popped it in a 450 degree oven for like an hour. The oven was supposed to be 350. They got... rather... dark. Why am I always wrong when I feel most sure I'm right?
Also, earlier today, I managed to return the horribly ugly workout pants I got at Target a few weeks ago and replace them with $4 sweatpants from Goodwill - found all kinds of other great things there, too, including flannel pyjama pants which I probably won't need now until spring, when the heat goes off. And I went to Sears and got new underwear for me and new socket wrench sockets for Eor. Yay. :) I know, how terribly exciting. :) Still, it felt morally good to get my cash back from Target. Evil megastore. Not that Sears is lots better, I suppose.
